Dundalk 23/11/18

Trainer’s Thoughts

Red Avenger ran in the mile claiming race at Dundalk on Wednesday and
acquitted himself well to finish 4th under Rory Cleary. He seems to be coming back to himself and
hopefully, he improves again next time out.

We weren’t sure what to expect from Mulzamm but we were delighted with how he ran. Turning in
it looked like he might go on and win but maybe he just needed the run and he ended up finishing a
close 6th. Hopefully, he comes on for the outing.

I was thrilled with Geo’s effort here last week over the minimum trip for Stephen
Mooney. He has been 3rd over 6f, 7f and 8f and 2nd over 5f on his last four starts and is still fresh and ready to go again.
The race for Geo this week is a mile apprentice handicap, Stephen Mooney will take the ride and claims 7lbs in the race. He’ll be sharp from sprinting last week but we know he gets the mile well and I feel he can land in the prize money once more.

Mulzamm is third reserve in the last at Dundalk but at this stage, it is unlikely that he will get a run.
